Get ready to level up

A hybrid online/live education opportunity

Complete coursework before the workshop, then use the live days for hands-on practice, questions, and practical application.

1. Online Education

After you register, you'll receive access to the online component of the certification, and we ask that you complete the modules that cover anatomy & physiology, pelvic floor dysfunction, and diastasis recti prior to the live sessions in March.

2. Live Demo

This is where the magic happens. You'll get two full days with Kim and Natalie providing real-world insight on how to put the information to use with your clients in your specific work setting. You'll also be able to ask all the questions you have.

3. Practical Application

You'll have the chance to practice the assessments with a partner, as well as the muscle releases and exercises. By working through the concepts in real time with your fellow learners, you'll get a strong sense of how to integrate these components into your own practice.

4. Receiving your certification

Once you've completed the live sessions as well as all the online modules, you'll finish the coursework by submitting answers to a case study and receive your certificate. By completing this certification, you will get to use the name Buff Muff and will get six months of the licensing package.

Why this course

The essential, evidence-based techniques for anyone who works with women.

This certification helps practitioners understand the effects of pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause so they can train women with more specificity, confidence, and care.

Right now, you know...

  • Diastasis recti exists, but you may not know how to assess it or what to do next.
  • You know a bit about the pelvic floor, but 'do your Kegels' is not always the right answer.
  • Many women struggle with back pain or abdominal function after birth and are unsure what to do.
  • Women want to feel strong but avoid certain movements, and you want to know how to help.

During the course, you gain...

  • A better understanding of what diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction really are.
  • Movement strategies that guide women toward better core health and fitness at any life stage.
  • Awareness of how to evaluate exercise safety and appropriateness for each client.
  • Knowledge on who needs core retraining and how to assess and progress them.
  • A bigger library of pelvic-floor-friendly and diastasis-friendly exercises.
